โWe cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard. Acts 4:20
For the Apostles, witnessing Christ was not simply a taskโit was a response to an encounter. They had seen His life, heard His teachings, experienced His love, and witnessed His mercy. Because they had encountered Jesus personally, they could not remain silent. Their proclamation came not simply from knowledge, but from lives transformed by Christ.
The first-ever ๐๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐๐ต๐ผ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ ๐ถ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐น๐ gathered digital missionaries from across Asia as one. We may come from different countries, speak different languages, belong to different cultures, carry diverse experiences, and use different digital platforms, yet we share one mission: to witness to Christ in the digital world.

The challenge before us is to move
A Influencers ask, โHow many people are listening to me?โ
Witnessing asks, โHow faithfully am I listening to God and to others?โ
To witness like Christ means becoming
Behind every profile, comment, message, and screen is a human personโwith a story, struggles, hopes, wounds, questions, and dreams.
Yet today, we can be connected to thousands of people and still fail to be present. We can scroll through hundreds of posts without noticing the person behind them, respond instantly without truly listening, and gain followers while overlooking someone who simply needs to be heard.

Digital mission, therefore, must go beyond views, likes, shares, and followers. Sometimes, our most meaningful witness is not the content we post, but the person we choose to listen to, the message we answer with compassion, and the person we accompany even when no one else sees it.
This becomes even more important in the AI can assist us, but it should never replace human presence. It can generate content, but it cannot live our faith for us. It can help communicate the Gospel, but we are the ones called to witness to it through our lives.
The challenge is not to reject technology, but to use it without losing our humanity.

This is also the heart of a synodal digital mission: not simply creating Catholic content, but walking together, listening to one another, discerning together, and accompanying one another in Christ.
We are called not merely to represent the Church online. We are called to be Churchโeven in the digital world.
And as we dance together to โ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ผ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด ๐บ๐ด๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐น๐ถ๐ธ๐ผ,โ which means โ๐๐ฎ๐๐ต๐ผ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ท๐ผ๐๐ณ๐๐น ๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป๐,โ may our joy become more than a song, a dance, or a moment of celebration. Even in the simple sharing of our culturesโthrough our stories, traditions, and food from our different countriesโwe witness the beauty of communion in diversity. These simple encounters remind us that witnessing also happens when we welcome one another, share what we have, and allow our differences to bring us closer together. May our joy, then, become our witness.
Coming from different nations, languages, and cultures, we proclaim that in Christ, our differences need not divide us; they can enrich our communion. May others encounter through us a Church that listens, accompanies, welcomes, and loves. Because ultimately, digital mission is not simply about making Christ visible on a screen. It is about allowing others to experience His presence through ours.
As much as I wanted to stay longer in Radio Veritas Asia, a priest reminded me, Those words reminded me that following Christ sometimes means leaving where we want to remain and having the courage to go where He sends us.
To all the wonderful people I met along this journey, Though our time together may have been short, every encounter has become part of the mission I carry forward. Special thanks to the most energetic group VISMIN peeps Philip , Pau , Shiela , Gie , Carmelle, Paul, Jo,ย KD, Fr. P Vhen, Fr. Ezekiel and Sister Monica.
To Sir Edwin Lopez and Ms Agatha MikGeo for the support.
Grateful for every encounter. Until our paths cross againโPADAYON!
