The Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Jesus Nazareno, also known as Quiapo Church, has unveiled the official logo for Nazareno 2027, carrying the theme ‘Tuwirin ninyo ang daraanan ng Panginoon” (John 1:23). The unveiling was held this morning during the Second Balangay Conference held at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.

The logo was selected from 55 entries, with 4 finalists considered before the winning emblem was determined. It highlights the 3 central elements of Nazareno 2027: Debosyon, Traslacion, at Misyon.

At the center is the image of the Poong Jesus Nazareno, representing Christ as the “Daan, Katotohanan, at Buhay” and the center of the faithful’s belief and daily lives.

The logo also features San Juan Bautista, who prepared the way of the Lord and called people to live uprightly and remain faithful to God.

The image of Quiapo Church represents the corporal and spiritual works of mercy carried out through the Church and society.

Surrounding the design, the rope symbolizes the call of devotees to straighten the tangled or crooked paths in their lives through love of neighbor and righteous living.

The unveiling follows Quiapo Church’s release of the Nazareno 2026 logo in October 2025.
That design carried the theme “Dapat Siyang Tumaas at Ako Nama’y Bumaba” (John 3:30) and emphasized praise, humility and faith.

The church said the logo would be used for the Feast of Jesus Nazareno and related activities under the banner of ‘Debosyon, Traslacion, at Misyon.’

The Nazareno 2027 logo calls on devotees to deepen their faith in Christ and prepare the way of the Lord not only through devotion, but also through their daily actions and service to others.
